the poppies ask us
to pay a good P.R.I.C.E.
Presence: by staying present and mindful with the poppies, we resist the trance of efficiency and war.
Reverence: by opening our hearts to great beauty and pain, we honor each life as a whole universe.
Integrity: by doing our best to keep the poppies safe, we aim to express deep love and care.
Courage: by vulnerably touching our grief, we seek the courage to act, even when it seems impossible.
Empathy: by asking the poppies to help us feel, we refuse to numb or normalize the pain of genocide.
